    Hey OFL,

Sorry to bug you, but would you mind taking a look at my thread in the illness section? It should be around the first one... long title. I'm wondering if you could help me, as I'm completely stumped.

Great, healthy fish can usually fight off Ich pretty fast....

Just about any plant that does well in a low tech soil based tank will do okay in gravel-but may need added plant food-but this depends on stocking and light too...a good all around plant for any substrate, grows fast, propagate easy, can be used floating or rooted...naja grass and water wisteria....

Hello :) My fish with ick are looking better already. The fry are losing the ick quickly :) I have a question. What are some easy medium tech plants that do well in gravel? I have 3 planted tanks already but there all using the soil method :)

I honestly don't know..sorry....I haven't used OTC medication/products in a really long time and I am not sure how it would effect plants...but my thought is that it would not be good for them.....can you QT the fry and infected fish to treat? that would be better.....sorry...also, if you treat in the tank be careful with too high temp with the plants too...some can't tolerate it and other can.....good luck...sorry I couldn't help...you might ask Byron..he may know....

    Hello!
    I really need your help!
Recentley I bought some fish and did not check them any problems! I looked into my tank tonight to find my betta fry with little white dots on! I think the only infected fish other than the fish that brought the disease. I have some treatment for ich (white spot) its called king british white spot termanator . It has worked in the past. Will it be ok in a planted tank?

When missing ventral fins are a result of environment and not genetics then offspring will not be affected-usually if the fry do not grow out with ventral fins due to bacteria they will usually never have them....
