Sorry!
I added to my previous post in the diseases section, the last page.
I hope that's okay!
It was connected to the thread I had posted, so that's why I re-used it.
Really? I didn't know about the spam. The few members I've talked to have been very kind, but I believe they were all moderators. The Admin is very kind, he has sent me numerous links that are very helpful. I will see how it goes on there, maybe the members have smartened up a bit, since then.
kathstew-yes I am a member of guppies.com...but I am not active any more....they got hit really bad by spam and some members got out of control, rude and ugly....so I haven't been back....the Admin on that site is a good guy though...has really tried hard to keep it under control...
BlueHaven-have you made a post on the main board..I looked and couldn't find one...
Hey OFL! Are you on guppies.com? I just joined and noticed your username in the forums. LOL! I saw your username and I was like "OHMYGOSH. ITS OLDFISHLADY!" :P
On the eyes or in the eyes...got a post on this with pics.....if around the eyes and not in the eyes...it may be normal pigment and nothing to worry about...I will look for your post....
Yes, you can safely use the Epsom salt after the fungus treatment
Hi!
I was wondering if you might know what the cause would be of white rings around a bettas eyes?
Can this be a fungus?
My betta had a fungus problem (white patches on him), and I treated him for it, but the whole time he had white rings around his eyes. The fungus is gone, but the white rings are still there. It's one on each eye, though it does look like it's dissapearing. I'm really worried about it!
Also, his stomach is bloated a little, can I safely use epsom salt after I finish the treatment for his fungus (I used jungle's fungus clear).
no worries, I'm sorry to hear you're sick D: I hope you feel better very soon D:
I will ask my parents if I can get some Prime and add it in and see,
I hope you feel better soon, thankyou for the help <3
sorry, the reddish brown is on his VENTRALS.
and the ammonia was 0.2 not 2, awful awful AWFUL typo. the Prime still might be a good thing to try though.
Ammonia 2ppm is what sounds to the the problem...check your source water for ammonia and get some Prime if you have ammonia in the source water...sorry it took so long to respond...been really sick today and may not be on much...
