how much and how often are the water changes; 30-50% once a week, what is the source water used; Tap, additives; Aqueon Betta Conditioner 5ml and temp;77-79.
Okay :) I'm getting a good light tomorrow so that should help..

Okay. Thank you very much :)
And also, one more question, do I need to filter that tank? My Anubias and moss balls suddenly fell apart last week and now his anacharis is kind of...clouding the water. >_>

    Hi, OFL :)
Just a quick question~ I have a 5.5gal tank with one male betta, heated, but not filtered. I just got him a few bunches of anacharis and I wondered if I needed to get a different light? he just has the regular light that comes with the tank set. I believe it's flouresent. If so, what do I get? LED? or..?
    Thank you:)

I posted pictures of his fins. Could you lookup when you have time?
    Thank you

    Hi again. :)

I just wanted to clarify something-- I should be doing 100% water changes every day for ten days, starting on day 4, right?

    Hi there!

I have a thread going under Diseases and Emergencies titled "New (possibly sick) betta at home"-- I recently rescued a male betta with several small holes in his fins, and at this point I think it's fin rot, but it was recommended to me that I ask you to check him out, just to see if you had any other ideas!

No hurry whatsoever-- the good news is he's very happy and perky, eating and swimming normally, and doesn't appear to be in obvious discomfort.

    Yeah.

Thanks. If you have time, I would still like to know what you would do in this predicament. Either in a PM, VM, or on the thread Whichever you feel in the mood if you want to.
