I was so excited because it helps my fishies, who are loving playing in their floating water sprite btw, and me reduce water changes a bit and thereby reduce stress. Im definitely getting more plants. Looking for low lights right now as I only have an LED and indirect sunlight. I have java and lace fern, java moss, two crypts, and a Mr. JJ Moss, the mossball. Any suggestions on what I could add.
Hi. I'm pretty sure he's fin nipping now. I had him in a smaller tank with salt water with absolutely nothing he could tear his fins on, I come home, and there are more flayed parts of his tail gone and a long split down the middle. Is there anything I can do?
I currently have him in a 1 gallon QT tank. He's responding to the salt, as far as I can see though there's only a few sporadic black marks between some of his scales and the slime stuff though, should I keep treating him with just that?
I'm sorry to bother you, but I need help! Yesterday I was looking at my boy, Asura, and noticed a few random patches of slime-looking stuff all along his tail. In the places the slime was, the tail was clamped too (as in, where it was on the edges.) By the suggestion of one of the other members, I did a 50% water change and added some salt to try and prevent it from spreading. However, today the weird slime is ALL OVER his poor tail and forcing it into a clamped position. It's kinda like a milky white and it's ONLY on his tail for whatever reason. Could you tell what this could possibly be, please? ):
