Out of curiosity what is the size of hydra? One like you mentioned: that can kill fry and sting...

I can try and hopefully it will come out because these things are faint. If it is hydra, hopefully it wont harm my fry.

This is the great unknown white algae I swear. I cant find info on the net on it or anything. Im pretty sure its not hydra because I see no tentacles. When it sways it looks like an umbrella when its turned inside out by a gust of wind.

Have you ever had, seen, or heard of a type of white algae that looks like an inverted jellyfish swaying in the current? Its on the tank walls, decorations, and live plants. Its not hydra.
