Hi again, How's your outside spawn doing? You haven't updated us. They should be about a month old. What do you feed them after 1 week old. ...... basically I'm asking about every detail about their development. Please update, I'd like to know because it's different from the usual.
Help hes at the bad of the tank gasping what did i do???? Im in a panic...on top of that the LFS told me to bring him back in so they can take a look at him and when i try to catch him with a net ...guess what speedy Gonzales is off to the races. I dont get it!? then he settles right back down to the same area and starts doing it again.
Not a problem, the longer the conditioning the better, but at least 2 weeks- unless they have been well cared for and healthy to start and then a week-a good varied diet and if you have live foods to add all the better-small amount more frequently.
I have never had luck in getting the fry to eat anything but live foods unless I kept the male with them and he will teach them to eat non-live foods.
Depending on the male-some can be left with their fry and be just fine other will eat them...so be careful if you keep the male long term with the fry.
Hey bloo97...hangin in there......overall just fine...thanks for asking...how are you?
weluvbettas-only way to tell is if you give it a try, never know about these guys, make sure they have a way to get out of his site...lol....and have a back-up plan. You may need to increase your water changes a bit-just a extra 50% water only change a week should do.
