    Have you made a thread on this, if not-make one and include a pic and the completed info sheet found in a sticky at the top of the disease/emergency section-The more info we have the better. That said, often the Long fin males can have fin issue due to water movement from a filter, general use to swim especially in large tanks, water quality, nutrition, age and genetics. Sometimes Long fin males need to be kept in small unfiltered container and fed good quality varied diet-maintain water quality and use of tannins to help toughen fins/scales-Without more info it hard to say what the- cause or treatment or prevention.

    my fish bubba, i look back at some of is old pics and he had big fins and stuff, know they are shorter becuase he keeps tearing them on plants, how do i help his fins get bigger ? i think he might want them short becuase he might be old ( you knever know how old a fish coming out of petsmart is , u know )
