Hm. Must be another one of those myths that float about the internet. Thanks for clearing it up! (:

I haven't seen or experienced health problems related to colors and I have just about every color....

Alright. I'm just really saddened by this. None of my other fish have gone like this, nor looked as sickly. Since I didn't contact the seller before she died, the seller isn't willing to work with me, other than $10 off my next fish. -sigh-

Thank you for your input. At least it wasn't my all white girl who died.

Do BF patterns typically start out weaker as fry, or is that whites? I was really lucky to get this white girl, but she's pretty strong for such a little girl.

Sorry for your loss, bummer too.....its hard to say what happened-she could have been sick or weak to start with and the added stress of shipping sent her over the edge-especially since the others are fine and you acclimated them all the same way.

hey I have a question about something that happened today. I ordered a fish from a seller and got her in the mail yesterday. she had red eyes and was bloated. I put her in a qt as I did the other fish I ordered from said seller. this morning I woke up to her dead, but the other girl fine. there was water conditioner, stress coat, and ial. she did not have pineconing. what could have been wrong with her? the water perams were all normal.
