I posted a thread a bit ago about my brand new male betta who is basically acting dead. No stimulation will really encourage him to move, he's lethargic and lingers at the bottom of his tank. I haven't seen him surface for air in a really long time. :/ He also tends to "float" with his butt a little higher than the rest of his body. Could something be up with his SB? He seems to swim fine, it's only when he stops that I notice. I could be over reacting, a worried "mother". I know new betta's often take a while to adjust. His water is the same as it is for all my other betta's, conditioned tap water, 80*, and they're thriving.
I did put a little aquarium salt in, as well as a couple extra drops of stress coat, just in case. Do you think I'm over reacting?
Thanks >.<
