There are only 2 fry in a heavily planted 8 gallon container outside. lol. I think that's enough room for them. And for the next batch of fry, i bought some very large plastic basins. About 2.5 feet in diameter and more than 1.5 ft deep. The second spawn i have is 2 weeks old. I'll put them in the basins when they are about a month old.

About 1 month and 3 weeks. But they are just about 1.3cm, as they got no significant growth for about a month. A local breeder told me to use egg yolk all through out, but it didn't work. They just began growing noticeably when i placed them outdoors, copying your set up.

It eats the live food and ignores the processed ones, no matter how little the amount. sigh

I am currently trying wean just one fry. It just ignores the ground up processed food. I added a male guppy in its tank, maybe the betta will copy the way it feeds. I hope it does.

Hi! Its me again! Some of my fry already show coloring. How do wean them off from live food? They are the ones i just placed outside, copying your outside spawn set up. Actually there are just about 3 fry, as the rest died due to my inexperience. How do wean your fry into dry food?
thanks for your helpful replies! :D

Need help again!
The plastic tub where I placed one of my bettas has traces of rat poison.
He is now very pale, but still eating. He is very nervous and jumpy.
He is still strong.
What should I do??
Thanks
