almost 12 hours now with no incident between the male and female, Both seem to ignore each other..

Lilly the female just put a guppy in its place (guppy stole her pellet) she didnt hurt it just a quick flare and charge.

Guppies/ Guppy fry will be removed into their own tank after the weekend. (comming upto 3 weeks of age for the fry, And I hav around 30 remaining (endler cross).

The endlers have been seperated into My grandads community of Endlers/ tetras/ rasboras.

So there will be NO cross breeding issues hopefully LOL

Ah Right she had gone a really really pale almost clear colour.. with two horrizontal Black bars.

So I presumed it was stress from being shipped..

I cant belive it took my Male 5 days to eat, where as she is being a little piggy already

I will keep a very close eye on things, She was BROWN when she came, Shes Gone blue again YAY..
So far they tend to ignore each other., Shes half the size my mail is if not even smaller than that.

I will keep a very close eye on them and see how things go. If i see any nipping/biting nastyness i will split them up.

Hi OFL LIlly Arrived today, after a few issues with her tank shes now settled into not such an ideal situation...
I left her floating in an old ice-cream tub (thoroughly rinsed), For her to jump out an hour later... Into my males tank.

Know my male has not batted an eye lid or shown any signs of interest that shes there ,apart from an initial Flare..

I've been watching them since 2hours after making my post and they seem to be adjusted, Lilly has eaten a couple of pellets, Her stress stripes have Vanished.
I do have a Little breeding trap i bought from the local lfs cheap (its a breeding trap but its partitioned of into 3 so more than one betta fsih can be displayed in it)
Would they be okay to be just left alone? and fed at normal feeding times(in your experiance?)

Hi OFL, Just heard about my Electric Blue Female Crowntail.

She will be here tommorow! (Soo excited).

I probably should have got A red female to go with my red male, but couldnt find one..

Some idiotic family member spilt yellow paint on the outside of my Tank I was going to use for breeding.. (its not on the inside) , So now I have to sort that out (GRRR).
