Thank you very much. I will probably need a lot of help. I Just bought a female with a 1/2 gallon tank. I guess my frist "to do" is to put her in a 5 gallon.

Wow. I never knew that. Can you explain what excess slime coat trails look like?

Slime coat is a mucous that fish excrete to help keep them healthy. It can help prevent external parasites from being able to attach to the skin and also can coat open wounds to help prevent secondary bacterial infection. Slime coat production is often a fish's first reaction to any kind of illness or disease, which is why sick fish can have trails of excess slime coat.

Aww, that's too bad. If you keep her water extra clean, she should be okay. The AQ salt doesn't really help with the actual fin regrowth so much as it helps with slime coat production - the extra slime coat helps to keep out any possible infection but if the water is clean, that shouldn't be too much of a problem. Lots of protein should help your girl regrow her fins pretty fast. I hope the next male is more agreeable to the idea of fatherhood.

Ooh, if you do that, it'll be so fun! And really neat to see how they fry do change as time goes on. :D

You could always do pics of the week. :) The only problem is they have to be so darn small. Like 60 X 482 pixels or something. Maybe when your spawns take off, you can post pics of them each week. Everyone loves seeing pics of fry. ;)

15, which means probably too many because I had to stop and think about it. >.> Thanks, bettalover. :) I actually got the inspiration from Green Tea when she mentioned she'd remember the names of people's bettas more if she saw pictures.

On a side note, I think I voted for veiltails in EverythngNice's contest so I don't get a hug, haha.
