The crazy people in Arizona claim they are easier than regular chocolates. What does that matter? Regular chocolates are nearly impossible! But to be honest, I put a bid on a group of six from aquabid, so I may be in for heart-break (or victory). One of the two, who knows? . But after, like, 45 years in the hobby, I should accept a challenge, right, and try something new, yes?

The tank is all set up, cycled and planted. I just have to adjust the pH and say my prayers. I'll let you know how it goes. . .

    Thanks for messaging me back

    Randy

they're very difficult to keep- Byron's kept a close relative in one of his tanks. Sunpet.com, the supplier for pet supplies plus has them occasionally.

Do you know of any other source for them besides arizona aquatic gardens? I have heard very negative reviews of that on line company, and though I very much want to acquire this species, I am hesitant to purchase from them.

I don't have any yet- I have a 20 long with dwarfs. After a year or two I'll replace them with samurais.

Do you own "Samurai Chocolates" (Sphaerichthys Vaillanti) or do you just REALLY want them, like I do? If you DO own them, are you breeding them? If you ARE breeding them, how's it going?
