I had bettas and I also had a male gor them but they all died. I keep gouramis now and they are much more resistant to the cooler water and even diseases. My bettas ended tragically: one was killed by her fighting male and another was left with the same male asa gift for my previous roommate. But they died. How do you manage to keep them alive ? do you have couples or just females?

Maybe you should try different foods. I tried feeding my betta flakes when he didn't eat his pellet food, but I think he liked the pellets more, so I kept feeding those to him.
