Well it would all depend on what size tank. I'll think about it and let you know. . I'll talk to FP too see what he suggest, but tank size determines just what and how many you can put in it. One thing you could do are tetras and rasboras. We have a 30 gallon tank that is dedicated tetra and rasbora tank.

BTW - the angels laid eggs on Saturday, we had just finished bringing down and setting up the 50 gal to transfer the cichlids into, leaving a 55 open for the unpaired angels. Sadly, Sunday morning we discovered the eggs had been eaten. But overall a good sign just them laying eggs, means two of them paired off for mating. So, fingers crossed we're moving four into the 55 tonight.

Redlessi - who me? LOL, i'm the queen of patience. I've researched more on ways to prompt birthing and have some steps to try out....I'll LYK

OH! we've got some new guppies on the way. I forget the type, he ordered them after showing them to me, but I'll let you know later which.

this is my third try at replying...grrrr, keep getting kicked off.
anyway, glad to hear everyone's doing fine, and good luck with the preggers! The micro's were wild caught and are a newly discovered (or at least newly circulated) species. Could only find two aritcles on them and both were studies being done on that strain. we figure because they were wild caught the parameters of any tank are going to be touch and go. even that fish place had corpses floating in the tank. we're going to go back to that fish place in a week or so, if they're still there they've most likely acclimated to aqurium parameters and we'll try another trio.

the red split tails dropped some more fry but we'd really like for the ablino blues to drop more. got a surviving male and female from the first brood, so they'll get paired up soon.

better get back to work, just wanted to respond quick....

Yes, there have been som more reds dropped. We picked up a trio of rare (pretty sure wild caught) guppies. Micropoecilia Parae is the scientific name, the common name seems questionable, but it was listed as red macaneta guppy. Sadly tho, we lost the first set of females. We decided to try another set and got another male and four females. Now both males are dead and only one female left at all. This has been since this past Friday. I suggested we try again, so we'll see. I mean, we have the female and we're not going to attempt any cross breeding at this point. Someday maybe, but not now.

Anyway, how are your guys doing? Everyone still with us and healthy?

    Talk to you soon.....

Ok, let's see....uh 13 up and operating, a 90 gal awaiting set up for the angels, a 50 gal awaiting set up for we haven't decided yet, and a 20 gal long that'll be a grow out tank eventually.
