I found a mix similar to My Pet Carnivore that's made here in NJ. It's called Healthy Paws. I'm going to go to the pet store that carries it tomorrow and see how she likes it. Thanks for the idea. I never considered I could find a pre mixed raw here!

Try blending together? I know 'My Pet Carnivore' sells these containers with the beef and organ mixed together into one so your dog is supposedly supposed to eat it all?

I looked at the prey model diet, that's pretty much the diet on rawfed. That's what I was going for... whole chickens pieces and organs and bones. She wasn't having it. She LOVES red meat. I balance that out with turkey so she alternates. I wish, wish, wish, I could get her to take organs again. She eats around them.

I love it when dogs are picky eaters because most will eat ANYTHING.

For a while I did straight raw with organs but she suddenly stopped eating liver and chicken. I got most of my info from rawfeddogs.net. Right now she's getting Sojos mix and raw beef/turkey and the occasional raw chicken bones that I strip of meat myself. She also likes Mother Hubbard biscuits so she's not completely raw fed. That's the only biscuit she'll eat. She's the only finicky basset on the planet.
