Hey Jackie! I was going to ask you a question. As you know, Fishy just passed away. I wanted your advice. I have my 10g tank divided into 4, which gives them 2.5g a piece. I know some people don't really like divided tanks, but I like mine. I got it decorated right before Fishy passed, and I really don't want to go through the hassle of redividing and decorating it again. Do you think it would be ok to get another fish and put him in Fishy's section? I cleaned out everything that he touched and vacuumed his section thoroughly. You're a lot more knowledgeable about these things than I am and I just wanted your advice. Thanks!

Hope you don't mind my saying this ... well here goes; If you're fixed on getting one of the guys you posted, I'd go for the second. IMO he has better finnage than the PK The PK's top fin doesn't meet tail. The tail's edges are rather rounded.

I wouldn't get the guys suggested ..... just not good as line starters - too many flaws. I'm not a big fan on cambodians but I feel his fins are better. If you can wait for something more suitable, I'd suggest you wait. Trust me, creating your own line (your perfect color and finnage) can take many generations. So it would be easier to start with something more to your liking.

Just keep in mind that rounded tail HM, specially the female often produces non HM - either RT or delta. So try to be fussy on choosing the right female. True HM females may produce at least 50 - 60% pure HM while non perfect ones often produce 10 - 30% only. And consider the fact that not 100% of fry will survive. So which percentage does actually survive.
