My thought was maybe internal parasites since about a month ago three of my oldest betta girls just died suddenly. Do you know of anyway of being certain about this or what I should do about it? I don't want anymore deaths.

Oh no :( I'm so sorry she passed. She was a pretty girl.

She was completely healthy when she left me (or else I wouldn't have shipped her) so she must have picked something up in your tank. If you've had unexplained deaths I'd look into a potential bacterial infection that could be infecting your girls. The fact that the yellow girl was so small could be a potential factor in why she got sick so fast... I'm not totally sure about that.

I had just started treating the girly you sent me for popeye last night (I noticed it a little bit as soon as she arrived but thought that maybe she just had big eyes and kept an eye on it, but yesterday was the first time that one eye was noticeably in rough shape). Anyway, she was only in my QT for the one day, I just went to do her water change, and she had passed :(
Do you think it was just the popeye or something else? I have had a few unexplained deaths lately.
