Speech therapy, interesting! I'm a music education major myself but I know what you mean as far as focusing on school, I just wish I was more studious but I get distracted so easily by the critters, haha

Speech Therapy. I'm about a year away from graduating so I really need to focus on school right now. No time to clean fry jars :-/ Hopefully I'll be able to breed again in the not too distant future.

Totally understandable. I don't think I could handle thirty fish either! Haha. Where are you going to school and what for? I've always wondered haha.

Thanks. It was hard but it's the right thing to do :-/ I've just got too much on my plate and it doesn't make sense for me to have 30 something fish when I'm not breeding. So I just kept a few pets and let the rest go to awesome homes.

I read that you had to downsize quite a bit :( I'm very sorry. Hope everything works out okay for you.

Never use tank water. You want the freshest water possible, just in case something goes wrong and they're stuck in the box longer than expected. What I do is mix up fresh water and add dechlorinator. I always add a few extra drops of prime just as a precautionary measure. I also add a drop of stress coat, some others add different things.. it all goes by preference.

Hey 1f2f, I have a quick question. When shipping bettas, what do you do for the betta as far as water goes. I've read both "use the tank water" and "never use tank water". Just looking for your opinion, thanks!

    Hey 1f2f!

Would you be able to check my post with pictures of my little babies? I'd like your opinion on how they are doing and maybe if you can determine the sex of a few?
It's in the Breeding section labeled "2.5 month old fry/juvies"

    Thank you!

If they have parasites they should be showing symptoms like bloating, stringy and/or white poo, lethargy, clamping, constipation, etc. It couldn't hurt to treat them for parasites as a precaution.
