Hi Christina, I'm Saphira. I just wanted to tell you how AWESOME your Betta breeds/colors post was! I never knew there were that many colors!! I'm so inspired now and I want to save a bunch of different colored female bettas from petco and set up a sorority tank. Hey sorry to bother you, but I had a question regarding your picture. I have a betta that looks exactly like him and I noticed something peculiar. I have been stressing for weeks now that my betta has that white stripe on his gill and just noticed yours does too. He has some other spots on his face like that and I was just wondering what on earth they were. When I first got them, I accidentally used algicide instead of dechlor to treat my water. He almost died but after about two weeks of constant water changes with only distilled water, he got back to normal. The only thing that I noticed different is that he doesn't make bubble nests. He eats like a pig, doesn't scratch against anything, and swims around fine. I just can't get him to make bubble nests and I thought it might be due to whatever that was growing on his face. Could you please enlighten me as to what those spots are/might be?
Awww that stinks! I hope things go smoothly...I hated physical therapy (I've gone 5 times for my back).lol How are your fish doing? Do you still have 70ish? :P I'm doing good. :)
