I like BBS alone personally. I also like to use live plants for infusoria. Ok swim bladder. I have never had problems myself and I never watch the amount of shrimp. My fry always eat as much as they can and no more. So it leaves me some extra work getting dead shrimp out but not much more than that. I've been trying the Hikari First Bites. But I'm not sure how well it works because I just toss a little in there before school.

Hey, so you posted a message for me and here is what i have to say. I have experienced egg-eaters before as well and i have tried to respawn them and again they would eat the eggs, even if i conditioned them for a much longer period of time, but i really want that betta's genes so i have done this, i put the male in (egg eater) and he usually squeezes out the eggs and places them in the nest, and i wait till they are completely dont then i remove the male and place another well conditioned male in to take care of the eggs and that usually works, i have only had this not work once so it should work for you. Hope this helps!
