Not trying to enable, I swear, but I posted a thread in the Pictures forums with pictures from Preuss in it... and they have quite a few adorable EE's in stock right now. Mostly grey/blue, but all quite lovely looking. If you do stop by, be aware they seem to be doing a lot of training new employees in the freshwater department right now, so it might be more hectic/longer wait than normal.

    Happy fishkeeping! ;D

    Hello,

I was catching up on the Pictures forum and noticed your post earlier this month about EEs in the Lansing area. I just graduated from MSU, so I'm familiar with a few of the pet stores in the area. If you get a chance, Preuss Pets in Old Town Lansing has had wonderful, store bred EEs before. My avatar, Tycho, was from them. A bit pricey because of them being store bred, but the staff there are wonderful and helpful, and they have a great selection of all sorts of things. :)

    Hey!

It's hard to tell if he's getting any better to be honest. He's currently on his 7 day break from his first medication treatment. I have some Nitrofurazone to try next but I wanted to give his body a break and recover a little bit before I gave him the next dose. He'll be on the new medication this Saturday and hopefully it works.

I've seen what fin regrowth looks like and I don't see any of it on his fins. The black edges did reappear but have fallen off the other day and now it's just sort of pale-ish white on the edges now. It doesn't look cottony or fuzzy so it's not a secondary infection. The white-ish on the edges is very minimal and you can only see it if you're very up close or shine a light. I figured it was just from the black stuff falling off.

His behavior is still the same so that's good at least. Just a bacterial infection I think. I hope to see regrowth sometime soon :(.
