Hi RLover09!
Parker finished laying her last 10 eggs about 3 three weeks ago. Her total laid this season is 42. She laid the last ten while I was holding her after rubbing shell and skin lotion on her. She got relaxed, closed her eyes and started "dropping" her eggs on my lap while I held her (like a hamburger). She braced herself against my thumbs and pushed each time she laid an egg. It took her about 25 minutes. When I placed her in her water pool, she began the process of "covering her eggs" using her back legs to "alternately pat the soil down". There were no eggs for her to cover, since I had them, but she did this anyway.
