Lol, how do I do that?! Also, can I safely put bettafix in the tank if I have a frog in there with him?

It may or may not, It will start growing back, some betta get over excited though and split them again. Try and keep his excitement level down until he heals.

Well I'm definitely trying to kept his water clean, the last couple of days I've done a whole clean, and two or three partials because of everything that's been going on. Is his tail fin going to stay permanently split now that it's just split all of a sudden?

Bettas are usually very healthy and hearty fish. They are prone to fin rot, but clean water and salt baths when caught early usually remedy that.

Alot of it depends on where you get it from too. So many pet stores have bettas in such poor conditions that there is no telling what issues they might have. Always look for a healthy active one!

Clean water is key to a healthy betta.

Do bettas ever live to be healthy fish, it seems like they're really sensitive to getting infections and such? I would really hate this to be my starting point into getting into fish, just death after death of betta. Not that Ollie is dying, but of course I really don't know, Hank dying made me sad and yeah, I just don't want to keep going through this when not even having them for very long.
