It depends, it is not cure all, some times it is not the answer. I usually do salt baths for a week, unless I see condition degrading, then I move to meds sooner. Your mixture of 1 teaspoon to a gallon is fine.

hey, i gave Pheonix his first salt bath a few days ago, I noticed it didn't look very salty, and then i tasted it off my finger and didn't taste salty. I used your formula but used epsom salt. do i need to put more in because i used the epsom? thanks. and how soon should i see results? I'm averaging about 3 baths a day
