Aww, I'm glad then that the plant will be alright. Yeah, Flapjack does the same thing, it's just so cute watching them swim through the plants, and sleeping on the leaves.

Synthisis told me he read that amazon swords do better with little nibbles. Something about the plant likes them and thrives more in the tank. Eh who knows. I was just curious about yours sine I knew you had the same plant. Flair loves that plant though. Between that and the fake one, he sleeps in the leaves them both (well flowers of the fake plant)

Oh, well it may just be him, lol. That is funny because the man at the pet store told me that bettas would not bother it, but then again they could be wrong, once again, anyways, does it seem like his biting is affecting the plant? If not, I don't the see the harm in leaving it, as I think the nibbles are pretty small right? Just keep watching, and see how it goes

I have two otos. Which I know they eat plants too sometimes. But Flair spends more time in the plants than them. And Synthisis (my boyfriend) has wendtii crypt in with his betta (the only inhabitant) and he has seen him nibbling on his.

Nope, my plant seems to be fine. Are you sure your betta is doing it? Watch him, and see if he does it. Do you have any other tank inhabitants? As of now, my betta doesn't look like he's interested in the plant as in eating it, he loves to swim through it though

Have you found any spots on your amazon sword plant that looks like your betta has been eating it? I have tons on mine, and Synthisis has a live plant in his tank with his betta and noticed the same thing.
