Well, I haven't had one to jump out of the tank but I knocked one on the floor during cleaning. It scared the daylights out of me! I put him back in the water and he was fine.
Hi! I'm back - we had some family issues but now finally some time for me and my fish friends! OK - Now I have 8! My hubby thought it would be nice to buy me two new ones for Christmas. I had a scare with one that I thought was not going to make it and bought 1 more. They are all really beautiful and fun to enjoy!
Fish Mama I made it back and they were fine. I just put a weekend feeder in from Petco. I changed the water before I left and changed it when I came back.
Thanks! I will try that! I am SO glad that I found this site! Everyone seems very helpful and nice - especially the senior members like yourself!! : )
Now I have 5 fish to take care of! I must really be crazy!!!!!!!
I have one more question. Seeing that ICE died from a bacterial infection - should I just put some BettaFix in the water when I make it - along with the purifier solution - just as a precaution so they don't develop anything bad?
Thank you! I will try to get some brine shrimp! I never heard of daphnia (what is it and where do you find it?) You have been VERY helpful. I hope these 4 little fish last a long time.
You can also feed him daphnia and brine shrimp. I feed mine Hikari brine shrimp. It comes in cubes and you can crush them up and feed the pieces to your fish.
No, you can't always tell but if the fins are shorter and the fish is small it usually means it is younger. I like crowntails and halfmoons. I don't have any halfmoons though. I can't find any where I live.
