Hi! Just wanted to ask you couple quick questions.

Root tabs....i tried them last night, and it totally murked up the tank..it was soo cloudy I had to take dumbo out. Is that normal though? To be that cloudy the day after? Will it settle? Or should I try again without putting dumbo back until it clears? The root tab bx said atleast 6 tabs in a 10 gallon. Being that I never used them before, and there are only 3 live plants in Dumbos tank ,I only used two...

I think im gunna by some liquid food just in case (:

    Hope all's well!

Thanks! Gandalf is being conditioned right now for breeding before he's too old. He was the first betta I took time to buy.... 6 weeks later I had Venom, Dusty, and Dumbo. Today...All together I have 8 males and 12 females! (I kept 4 males from Venom's batch and 2 girls)

    Bettas are awesome. Period

I'm no expert on plants but seem to have good luck with them so far.

I was checking out the pics of Dumbo and Gandalf, very nice looking boys you have there.

Thanks for the advice! I was if'y on whether or not those root tabs worked. I've heard the liquid additives are better. So this will be a nice experiment of my own. Might have to start a thread. Anyways, thanks again!

    Hi BettaGeek

Thanks for the compliment on my tank.

I don't use a Co2 generator, I've had the plants in my tank for about 6 months now and they seem to be doing great, I have a fair number of fish in the tank and I'm pretty sure they generate enough co2 for the plants to thrive, I do put some liquid plant food in the tank about once a month.

I am looking at plans on youtube for some DIY co2 generators, might try build one and see how it goes.

You could try some root tabs for your ferns and some liquid plant food and see if that helps your ferns.

I wish the picture was better, my camera died and I had to use my phone and as luck would have it, the flash died on the phone.

    Hope everything is well.
