How does everyone get such great sharp pics? What tips can you give me?

When you go to a forum, there is a button that says "new Post".

Just getting started. Will probably asking what might seem dumb questions, but please, bare with me. Think I am going to like this new adventure. Bought my first betta the other day and he already seems like a member of the family. My first dumb question.....Bought my betta, Frank Jr., at Wally World and his fins seem to be shredded. Is this normal or should I be concerned?
