Do you have any idea why my new betta (which I thought was a veiltail) has dual-tipped ventral fins? My boyfriend has a veiltail, and his male's ventral fins are a single point. He has been thinking my new one isn't a true veiltail because of the anal fin shape. But I figured he wasn't fully grown yet and that's why the anal fin was that shape.

Great!!! Oh my goodness, there was the most beautiful cream colored double tail there. I wanted him.... My sister said no way she had to drag me out of the room..... Hahah

I was just at Thatfishplace, they had like 5 PURPLE VTs I couldn't get one. But, if you want to order one, go to thatpetplace .com they were gorgeous. And really deep purple.

I just got a new female! She's blue purple with a red anal fin. She's settling in right now and ate the pellet I offered her. Just thought I'd let you know.

Who am I? Well I am a Junior Member of the International Betta Congress and a breeder of white HMPKs, red dragon HMPKs, black/red dragon HMPKs, metallic multi HMPKs, blue masked HMPKs, and now multi color HMs. Soon to add black HMs. I will be showing in New Breeder class in fall of 2012.
