That sounds high but if you say so, your fish are FAR superior to Chard56's fish (BTW, no relation between him and I, didnt even know about him when I joined here!). Not a bad article except the temperature. I don't even raise the spawning tank that high. 78 to 80 is fine for spawning, raising and maintaining Bettas. The higher temperatures will foul the water faster and is too high for their metabolizm. 84 degrees is fine if you are treating them for a disease like Velvet or ich otherwise 82 is as high as I'll make the water.
