I'm very sorry about Dean Winchester. Poor little fellow. I can't believe teenagers (or anyone for that matter) would do such a thing. you gave him the best chance of living possible, and I'm very glad that he didn't pass in that tiny cup. hope you're well, ~Saphira
I started using lifeguard and I'm treating for ich. I looked at the label again and it can be used for a variety of things: tail, fin, and mouth rot, ich, fungus, and hemorrhagic septicemia. it seems to be fairly mild, as it can be used as a disease preventative when adding new fish to your tank, not just when they're sick. Merlin is actually starting to perk up a bit, not sitting on the bottom as much anymore and swimming around his tank, almost like he's bored. if I walk into the room, he swims up to greet me.
started treatment this morning, but he doesn't look so good. he spends most of his time on the bottom, but he comes up for air and food. (at least he's still eating. if anything, he almost seems a little hungrier. I'm hoping this is a good sign.) should I put peach in another kritter keeper? he still looks fine, but I'm worried that the water might contaminate him.
