    Well here is what I suggest, go to this site - reefkeeping . com

    Go to the search and type in anything you are confused about, "lighting", "tank chemistry", etc. I have learned so much from this incredible website it is unbelievable. Then once that is done, ask questions here.

    I would also say that expect higher costs than you think. I am at $800 and I have no fish :p. It is a little bit expensive, and I mean now that I know what I know, I bet I could do it slightly cheeper, but buying equipment is still expensive, plus live rock gets expensive quickly.

    Hey bartman I have been reading post and it sounds like you and I our in the same but expect you are a little ahead of me. I want a salt water tank but know nothing it about it. I am reading all the products I need but I am clueless to which works great with each other. Just thought I would let you know. If you have any advise just pm me.
