u shouldnt worry about him so much. i have a betta named oscar 2. mine never eat my tetras and my tetras never nip him. i introduced him to them for like a month. i take the screen out for awhile. if they bite or fite i split them up 4 awhile. they r perfectly fine now. feed the betta 5 pellets a day and 6 days a week
