Playsand is safe. Pool filter sand is much easier to clean before putting it in the tank.

Striped bass are my lifes passion... they have been since I was 8 years old..which means over 50 years..the path of my life and everything in it is linked to that fish in some manner...thus my screen name Roccus ... from the original latin name roccus saxatillis... changed quite a few years back to Marone saxatillis... not so noble IMHO for such a noble fish.

Play-sand should be perfect for your animals (also uber paranoid!)
. . .and yesh, 'tis the dirtiest sand there ever was :/
But you really can't beat it for the price, neh?!!

    Pictures!?? ^_^

I love your new avatar. Sooo modern art. Do you have a larger version I can have for my collection?

Terrific photography. You ought to build an album to share it. The instructions are on your "User Control Panel."

That 84 gal is bigger than anything I've had, super nice tank. Thanks for posting your project I think others who see this might try it. I've built tanks and its a very rewarding project/hobby.
