I never thought about using plain old sandpaper. Hey, I think I will put the jasper in the betta tank!

Ooh, I would love to see a pic of your trilobite! I haven't been to the UP in a long time. Agates are so pretty. I've found more Petoskey stones in my back yard than at any beach. They're really plentiful around here. I see that you love rocks too. I'm also a rock hound, but I don't know too much about them. I found some jasper in a rock pile in my back yard that is really cool. Do you ever polish your rocks?

Haha I keep thinking about going there and looking. I'll probably end up going to the petstore first just because it's closer and I can get a discount. I got my current betta there and I know they treat their fish well. I'm definitely going back to that one though (forgot how to spell it) to look closer. Maybe I'll do that today. I can't buy anything either way, I need to order another heater and buy another of everything that Norman has. It'll be expensive but it will be worth it ;D

    Hi,

Congratulations on your graduation! I'm a student there myself. (: I've actually been there once before. That place is amazing, it's like being in an aquarium at the zoo, only you can buy everything, haha. I forgot about them since it's a little farther, but I'm looking into getting another betta sometime and I will definitely check out there EE's there. Thank you for the reminder!

Tycho is fantastic, and I was wondering, does he change colors when excited at all?

That Tycho is one beautiful fish.

Up near the constellation Orion is a small circle of stars called the Pliedes. The great astronomer Tycho Brahe claimed these and gave them to his girlfriend. Tycho called them Corona de Beatrice.

Perhaps you already know this lovely story.

    Welcome to the forum.
