Hello! Sorry I just saw your post. I currently keep a group of 5 white clouds in my 20 gallon, they share it with a female betta. They have always completely ignored each other. I know lots of people say that white clouds require much cooler temps, but I feel fish are pretty good at adapting.
If you keep just the white clouds and a betta in the 10 gallon, that would probably be ok, just don't add anything else. And if you can ever upgrade that would be good too, as white clouds are very active fish. I think their level of activity would be better with a female betta, since females are much faster, she probably wouldn't be bothered by them.
I saw on one of your posts that you have kept White Clouds with a betta before! I have been jumping around trying to find advice on whether or not to put a betta in my 10 gallon with my 6 White Clouds. I was hoping you could answer some questions for me.
How big was the tank you kept them together in? Was there ever any fighting? Would you recommend a male or female? Do you think my tank is big enough?
I'm sorry for all the questions, but I hope you'll answer me soon!
Thank you so much!!!!
