Night shifts sitting at a desk at a trucking company. I get a lot of time on my laptop. How did you choose your user name?
I thought of it all by myself, pretty original eh? It is actually my name on my local fish club forum. My Fish Keeping When and how did you become involved in fish keeping?
When I was about 4, I won a bunch of Goldfish at a community fair. All but 1 died. The one ended up living forever, grew about a foot long and was kept in a 75gal. I have really had all sorts of creatures my whole life, but always loved fish. Off the top of my head: salamanders,frogs,toads,box turtles,RES,fish ofcourse,ginnie(sp?) pigs that made all sorts of noises during the night,hamsters,rabbit and all sorts of things. That was through the years, I stopped keeping things for a couple years due to drug addiction after sobering up I got back into the hobby and I now I only keep fish and enjoy it more then ever. What kind of fish do you currently keep?
Right now I have a planted 55 gallon that is pretty much the remainder of my freshwater tanks all thrown in one. Theres guppies, some neon tetras and 3 pea puffers. The pea puffers are going to a friend and the guppies most likely my father. I am getting out of freshwater and just sticking to salt. My dad has multiple large empty tanks, but currently only has his 75 set up with 3 fancy Goldfish. My pride and joy is my 46gal bowfront reef tank with 45gal sump/fuge. The reason the sump is so big is because I was already planning an upgrade when I built it. The tank houses a total of 3 fish,shrimp,a bunch of snails,I added a cucumber awhile ago but have yet to see him so I don’t think he made it. The fish are 2 false perc clowns (1 orange, 1 black) and a orange spotted goby/paired with a pistol shrimp. I am planning prob. 2 more fish when I upgrade and probally focusing more on corals. It is going to be an 80 gal tank (it’s a custom built that’s why gallons are an odd number) I am not 100% sure it is tempered glass or not, so if I find out it isnt ill probally go with a drilled 75gal. One of the fish additions is going to be a Yellow Tang most likely, but I havnt decided on the other, its all in the works. Be sure to check my tank thread, as you can see my 46gal now and my 80 will be going in there once it gets up and running most likely. What kind of setup?
Fresh and Salt, basically explained above.  What was your most challenging fish keeping experience?
Everyday in life is a challenge, but what would life be without challenges? What advice would you like to share with the FishForum community? If you love it, don’t give it up, if you fish, catch and release, if you buy fish, buy tank raised. What would be your dream tank?
Something huge, saltwater that I could snorkle and dive with my fish and corals in. What do your friends/family think of your hobby?
Well, honestly I have no friends. I ditched them all when I got clean. My girlfriend is just now getting into it because she sees my interest, my dad originally was going for marine bio at school (he changed majors) so he is all for it, my mom says shes moving out if she sees another tank. Do you name your fish? If so, what are some of the names?
No, but occasionally Ill have a name for one, like Gomez the cleaner shrimp. What fish have you had the longest?
The Goldfish from the community fair, he’s since past but I think the fella died of old age. What is your favorite fish of all time?
All of them really. I really like saltwater fish and inverts. One a scale of one through ten, how would you rate your interest in fish keeping? (1=I hate fish, 10=Completely and hopelessly obsessed)

I like Bob marley. If its rap I only really like Styles P. and dblock. If you like rap I recommend Styles P. esp. the songs “switch my style” “my life” and “my brother” ofcourse I like tupac and biggie. I like 311 and sublime. Atmosphere is pretty cool too. I really havnt been listening to music lately since my car radio was ripped out. What are your pet peaves?
Since I’ve quit smoking cigarettes, smoking a cigarette in arm distance of me, bad drivers, ones that ride my bumper, Im bad in a car…If theyre riding me ill go 5 mph and if they pass ill get up on their bumper. I guess that’s jersey for ya. What is your favorite film?
Don’t really have one, I like funny stuff. Blow, Killa Season, and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas are good too. What is your favorite TV show?
I literally do not watch TV. I do not have a TV in my room. I do not life TV. I feel it is a waste of time, I’d rather spend it staring at my fish tank. What is your favorite food?
I’ll eat anything besides the obvious nasties like liver and hagis. I like italian foods the most probally, but chineese, mexican whatever pass it my way. What is your favorite holiday?
St. Patricks Day and Christmas. What is your favorite color?
This really depends on what it is a color of. If it’s a ferrari neon green, red, black or a bright color that shows off the body work. Shoes – black or white, walls in a room – white or earth tones. In general I would say red. Idk I like colors (or colours if you want to be tech) because I love to paint. Im into graphitti art too, so pastel and bright colors are big with me.  sample painting done all in spraypaint. Im not going to post any crazy paintings ive done, just because people tend to copy. enjoy. |
