| | Trying saltwater older and hopefully wiser
Hello,
I am sort of new to the saltwater hobby. I tried a tank back in college and budget, neglect and lack of info sent me running back to freshwater. I'm now married with a four year old and have kept a Cichlid tank for about five years. I recently went to Florida and the hotel had two large tanks with Lionfish, Tangs and live rock and I caught the bug. I waited thru holidays and then grabbed a 90 gallon replacement this weekend from a LFS who deals in saltwater only.
Anyway I plan to do a FOWLR and I have the tank up and running cycling with live rock. I can't make up my mind if I want predators or reef fish with the option to convert to corals later when I can get better lights. I think I'm more of a fish guy but feeding live food seems a little scary and I wonder if it would be more work if I can't keep cleaner types? Anyway I posted some ideas in the fish section and I have a month or so to decide on the fish.
My son has already picked out a "Nemo" fish. I wonder how many aquarist hear that? I look forward to hearing from fellow enthusiasts!
