Hey everyone, I'm Chris, and though I've been keeping freshwater tanks for years, I've never crossed the road into saltwater territory... that is until this year!

I did a bunch of studying and reading about the art of saltwater tanks for the last couple of months in 2007, and finally decided to take the plunge :). I'm extremely happy I did too, even though my tank is in its infancy, its already my prized possession, and a centerpiece in my apartment (I'll get some pics up soon). I've started to FOWLR to get my feet wet. Once I finish grad school and get a real job, I'll probably get a second tank, and by that time I'll be confident enough to try out a reef.

Anyways, I just wanted to say thanks to the site admins and the rest of the community here for having such a great forum to share information, ideas, and even simply pictures :).
