New to the forum and to fishkeeping!

Hi everyone!

Yesterday I was given a 25 gallon aquarium. Yep, just a random gift.

I've had numerous goldfish (in teeny tanks when I was 9 years old) and bettas.... but have never had an actual aquarium before.

I don't have a CLUE what I'm doing... which is why I am here! I expect I'll go with a freshwater tank... But I don't know how to go about setting it up... cycling and whatnot.

So that is why I'm here! A bit about me... I'm Tricia (or Trish), I live in Ontario, I love all animals and I'm 16 years old.
