Hi all,

I am a novice fish owner. I actually don't have any fish right now but have in the past and really love having them around. I could stare at a nice tank for hours! I really don't know enough about keeping them though and need to learn more.

I just got a 10 gallon tank largely because my 19-month-old daughter really loves fish. "Fish" is one of her favourite words and we have to go stare at the tanks in the stores whenever we go out.

I haven't decided anything about what will go into my tank except that it will be freshwater. I'm just going to get it up and the water moving before I make any decisions. Plus I have a lot of reading to do :)
