| | I'm new here
Howdy everyone,
I ran across this forum in my search for information. I'm fairly new to keeping fish as the only real experience I've had is a 10 gal tank with a handful of feeder Goldfish. They did really good for about a year even after we moved. Course I had to bring home a new fish and a case of ich killed them all.
So we packed up the tank and gave it up. Now hubby and the kids want fish again so I'd like to go into it with a bit more knowledge. Last month I managed to pick up a 20 gal and figured that would be much easier to work with. Well last week I ran across a 55 gal and was completely giddy. I can't wait to get things going, but trying to wait until I know what I'm getting into.
Hubby wants something pretty and a bit out of the ordinary. I've been looking at the dwarf cichlids as they seem to have a lot of variety and from what i read they are easy to care for. We are headed to the fish store this weekend to look around and see what's available. I'm sure i'll have tons of questions before it's all over.
Nice to be part of this forum, seems like a great group here.
