hello there! my name is benny and i created an account on the forums because i just got into fish keeping and i would like to meet other people with the same interest. i have a 5gal tank with 4 zebra danios and 4 ghost shrimps ( i may add more shrimps). a small little tank for my room but i love taking care of it! i will eventually upgrade in the future but for now this tank of fish will be like my children! thats just a little bit about my aquarium and nice to meet you guys!
Hi Benny! Welcome to TFK. Yes you are going to need a bigger tank at some point... those Zebra Danios are going to get to 2 inches long and will need more room to swim. They are fast swimmers and need the room of something min 24 inches long which I think is a 20 Gal.....A 5 Gal is better for one Betta. Or more shrimps.
Click on the links along the top of the page, Tropical Fish Profiles, and then type in Danio. Lots of info there on Zebra Danios.
And if you are like most of us in here, you will be constantly on the hunt for the next tank. lol. It's kind of addicting.
