Hey, my name is Andrew. I finally got around to starting my own freshwater tank, and fell in love with the hobby. So far I only have guppies and ramshorn snails, but I am looking to add to the tank (hopefully by this weekend I will have Otos and RCS). Anyway, got into the guppies because they were a gift from a friend of my girlfriend. After we graduated and moved out of the dorms, she went home to her chinchillas and I brought home the fish. Now I have a small hex tank with the guppy fry and a larger tank with the adult guppies. Since moving home, I have been searching the internet for an informative fish keeping community. I finally found one and so I had to join! Anyway, that's my story; very excited to be a member of a great board, finally!!!

hi and welcome.
watch out for ottos in a new tank,they are very sensitive,and may not take
to comercial foods.

Welcome, I also have guppies and RCS you are in trouble now. lol I'm up to 4 tanks and my fiance told me tonight I could have 3 more. Once you get started it's hard to stop.
