[lost d plot]

Hi all,

New to keeping fish and had some bad advice and a few casualtys.

Here's my tank..









I Have lost..

1 x Shark (I thought he'd been eaten but he'd hidden in the base of one of the artifilial plants, died and rotted. Think he contributed to most of the other deaths)
1 x Green Spotted Puffer (well gutted he was ace and seemed so happy.)
1 x Red Clawed Crab (Have no idea he just vanished)
1 x Needle Fish
1 x Reed Fish
1 x Siamese Fighter
1 x Red Clawed Crab (escaped)


I still have..

3 x Clown Loach
1 x Shark
1 x Blue Fire Mouth
1 x Gurami
1 x Red Line Tourpedo Barb
1 x Ruby Shark
1 x PANGASIUS PLEUROTAENIA
1 x Shark Cat
1 x Pictis Catfish
3 x Angels
1 x Elephant Nose
1 x Dwarf Frog

Only recently got back online and making good use of places like this to learn what I should be doing..

Wish I'd bin online when I started cause most the advice I was given was wrong.

Hoping to make it through to pay without any more losses so I can get some more stuff to test and improve conditions..

Am hoping to expand and grow as the fish do get a couple of bigger tanks.

If you give as much information about your tank as possible - size, filtration, water parameters etc, we'll help you out as much as possible.

When I started out I was told all I had to do was keep the PH stable and the temp right so only bought a Ph test kit some ph down and a thermomitor...

I have since learned better but also spent up.

Am buying a master test kit on pay day (a week on friday) is it better to wait till then to make my post?

All I can say at the moment is tat I have a 125 litre tank with a fluval 3 filter, a Ph 7 and a temp of 25 degrees.

I am doing a 10 percent water change every 3 days and hoping I can make it to the end of the month without any more losses.

All fish seem happy (fingers crossed)

ahh tell Mrs d plot not to panic,all is not lost....
have a tank of her own,with lots of pretty fish :) or
maybe a nice little 10glln with a
beautiful Betta splenden in it,with pretty cherry shrimp.
the list is endless,and i'm sure she could make it
look beautiful.
(there is no sarcasm here ment in any shape of form
i wish to offend no one especially the Mrs )

Her's was the puffer and it would have been a lot easier to convince her if he'd still been with us..

We were told he'd be ok in our tank. When we got back online I'd read that only as they get older they need the conditions to change...

That little puffer was going to be my excuse to get another tank without any ear ache...lol

take a day out to the fish shop,
not the tank half,the fish half,
should be something there,
if not show how big the shark can get,
he really needs a new home poor thing. :)
