i have been in saltwater aquariums for about 3 years now - have had several different set ups - 12 gal. nano, 72 gallon bowfront - and now i am in the proccess of setting up a 30 gallon reef tank in one of those bio cube tanks. never done a reef set up before, so i will need all the help i can get! thanks in advance!:)
Hey there. Nanocubes can be fun. I've seen some guys really "hotrod" some JBJ's. Chillers, skimmers and metal halide lighting. I met one guy that used a stock 24g to raise his ricordia after splitting them with scalpels. He'd put them in the JBJ for 2 weeks. Then he'd pull them back out and dip them in a diluted iodine dip. Next he'd cut them into 8 even pieces directly through the mouth. He'd scopp up all the pieces and drop them in the tank. He started with 10 FL yumas and within 2 months had 60. He then traded those of for other species/colors. Next thing you know this guy has about 200 rics in a tiny nano cube selling them all the time for $10.
