Running 3 weeks

your tank is still in its cycle stage it takes around 5 to 8 weeks to cycle a tank sometimes longer just keep doing a doily check on your water conditions. what test kit are you using the api master test kit is the best in my opinon just do a 25% water change if your ammonia goes higher then 25%

Yes im use the api master kit

my amonia was 0.50 2 days ago and now its 0.25 so its going down.
Shall i do a small water change to get the amonia down to 0 ???

Why are the nitrite and nitrate 0 at the momont ???

the p.h seems a lil high what temp is the water it should be 76 to 80 degress

Temp is 78-80
the ph is 8.2 but ive read the live bearers like the high ph

why are my nitrie and nitrate 0 when will they go up ???

yes do a 25% water change and as soon as the good bactaria seeds in the filter (s) the ammonia will go away and the nitrites will begin to raise treat nitrites like ammonia it will take time for a complete cycle be patiant im cycling a tank now myself its been almost 5 weeks nowthe p.h should be between 7 & 8
