Passing by here to say my hello to everyone and why not talk a bit about my hobby and how it all started.
Around 1987(while my country was still under the communist regime) my father and my uncle became very interested in this hobby. needless to say that at the time fish keeping here was an obscure hobby since nobody knew nothing about it with a few rare exceptions. They started with a
Guppy tank and in about 6 months they had around 50 aquariums filled with fish ranging from the easymode
Guppy to
Discus to cichlids, etc.
At the time i was around still young, 4-5 years old and it was a total delight to stay in that room filled with all those colored fish and plants and watch my dad breed them, feed and care for them.
Time passed and bit by bit my dad had to abandon his fish projects as it was a simple hobby that did not bring any money and just ate time.
Now, years later i decided to pick up where he left but his knowhow is a bit rusty so here and there i might need some help along the way from anyone here who would like to share his knowledge and wisdom.
At the moment i have a 350L aquarium(92 gallons) with a very strange fish combination. Most fish came to me from ppl who didn't want them anymore and i couldn't refuse any so i ended up with a very strange combo of fish as i stated above.
