Hi all! My name is Lindsay and I'm a college student at the University of Wisconsin. I've had a bit of fish keeping experience in middle school and high school (a couple betta tanks and a 30 gallon community), but am looking to get back into the hobby by setting up a ten gallon in my dorm room (biggest size allowed, sadly). I'm hoping this will be my first tank with live plants. I've been doing a lot of research on what I can do with the setup, but still have a lot of questions which I hope I can get answered here! This forum seems like a great resource for information!

Hi Sconnie92. Welcome to the Forum. Mine is away at school too. Sadly they are only allowed 3 Gallons here and we could only find a 2.5G so consider yourself lucky!! lol. I guess they need to draw the line somewhere or you kids would be dragging in 55gallon bowfronts.... NO? I would!!
What are you going to put in the 10 Gallons? 1 Betta or a divided tank for 2?
